REVIEW ABOUT CATRICE HD LIQUID COVERAGE FOUNDATION

Hello everybody! As you know, we have included our product review requests from our followers in our blog plans, and today we will talk about the HD Liquid Coverage foundation of the Catrice brand which has many questions.

Catrice is a brand sold at Rossmann stores and we used many products because we found it to be successful in terms of price performance. This product is also shown as a dupe to many brands, especially Dior's Nude Air foundation. We were able to use the Nude Air foundation for comparison.

Let's start with the HD Liquid Coverage foundation itself. The product is 30 ml. weight and comes in a dropper bottle. There are four colors, 001 Light Beige, 002 Rose Beige, 003 Sand Beige and 004 Warm Beige. Our color 001 number Light Beige. Obviously, the absence of intermediate colors as a color scale can cause some skin colors to be incompatible, especially between 001 and 002, so the transition between colors is very obvious and may not be compatible with intermediate tones. For all four colors, we can say that it is predominantly matching to warmer skin tone.

The product is extremely fluid. This fluidity and very fast fixing make it a bit difficult to apply, so we took the product directly on the brush or sponge and applied it so that we could drive it directly. In Dior Nude Air, there is no such fluidity.

You need to move quickly as the product is fast fixing. If you do not act quickly because of the punctual powder end, it is fixed and difficult to distribute, so you can not get a homogeneous look. Compared to Dior Nude Air, it does not create a more matt finish but a whitish image, you can get a matte but not cakey look. Despite its thin formulation, the success of controlling the shining in the day is very good and we can say that it gives mattifiying about 4-5 hours. Ideal for mixed and oily skin.

It has a moderate coverage performance. However, thin-based foundations have the advantage of second-coat application, so if you want too much covering, you can easily apply the second layer. With Nude Air, we can say the same as covering.

Although the product is thin and absorbed by the sponge, we prefer to apply it with the sponge because you can increase the coverage with the sponge, but still the brush does not absorb the product, this foundation is fixed quickly so you can not spread evenly by distributing it with the brush.

In summary, this product is a foundation with a fine, matt finish and a foundation that is suitable for oily, mixed, shining skin types.  Ideal for Daily using. Could be a nice option, affordable. We can not say that Dior Nude Air is dupe to it, its structure is too fluid, it is more dull and its color scale is narrower. But if you can find the right color tone, we can call it a beautiful and successful foundation for the price. The current price is 20 TL.
